The overall objective of the Wallace Hills Feasibility Study and Business Case initiative is to identify and establish a comprehensive argument, complete with quantitative and qualitative information critical to a decision process in the timing of the future development opportunities for the proposed development of Wallace Hills.
Sipekne’katik (formerly known as Shubenacadie First Nation) is executing this project to provide recommendations for the development of Wallace Hills, a 54.8 hectare parcel of commercially designated reserve lands.
As the Halifax Regional Municipality and Nova Scotia economy continues to grow, we believe Sipekne’katik and Wallace Hills is strategically located and will benefit. Sipekne’katik must be ready to present a strong case for development. To ensure we are able to serve and market both existing businesses, and potential organizations wishing to partner with Sipekne’katik by locating at Wallace Hills. There is a need to ensure valid information regarding markets, trends, infrastructure, taxes, employment statistics, etc. is available to Sipekne’katik.
