The Recreation Department is fully committed to the overall health and well-being of all community members. The department’s goal is to promote an active lifestyle by offering sports and recreation activities, nutritional awareness programs and fitness classes. The department aims to increase the number of skilled and knowledgeable athletes and professional leaders in physical activity, sport and recreation for youth and adults. The Recreation Department offers a Sports Assistance Program which is available to all youth aged 21 years and under who are registered Sipekne’katik Band members. We are pleased to share that our new fitness centre is now open. Membership Fees:
-4-day free trial
-$5 Drop in Fee
-$15 for a 10 day membership
-Youth between 13 -18 FREE
-Ages 19 and Older is $20 per month
-$100 for a 6 month membership
-$200 for a one year membership.

Monday – Friday: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Sipekne’katik Fitness Centre

Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Weekends are 12:00pm-10:00pm)
