Meet The Future of Sport in Canada Commission
We want to hear your voice!
Please come and meet the commissioner and staff and share your voice as to your lived experience with sport within our Nation and in playing at a competitive level.
While the Commission is in Sipekne’katik First Nation, it will have an opportunity to see sports facilities and meet students, coaches, members of sports teams, and athletes who can help identify the distinctive needs of the nation and surrounding area.
This is a unique opportunity to share your views and ideas on how to better support Indigenous athletes and sports in Canada. Refreshments will be served.

Glow Trip for Adults 55+
Community Adults ages 55+ are invited to attend Glow Halifax on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024. Transportation is provided and will be leaving Sipekne'katik Health Centre at 4:00pm.

Frozen the Broadway Musical
Join us to enjoy Neptune Theatre’s production of Frozen the Broadway Musical.

For community children ages 4 to 14. Parent or guardian must attend with child.
Transportation is provided. Attendees must travel with the group by bus.
The bus arrives at the Community Centre at 5:30pm and departs the Community Centre at 6:00pm sharp. The show starts at 7:30pm. Snacks will be provided on the bus.

Community members are invited to kick off the holiday season with a Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 starting at 6:00pm in front of Little Eagles Daycare.
There will be complimentary Sipekne'katik hats & mittens, gingerbread house kits, candy canes, tea, coffee, & hot chocolate for attendees while supplies last.
