Introducing the Sipekne’katik Community Food Program - With funding from Feed Nova Scotia, POSSE Project will be hosting monthly community meals in Sipekne’katik!

The first FREE community meal will take place next Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, from 5:30pm-7:00pm, or until food runs out. The meal is take-out only.

If you are an elder or unable to attend the community centre, please contact POSSE Project, so they can assist accordingly. Any leftover meals will be packaged and donated to the Sipekne’katik Food Bank.

They are also working on creating a cookbook! They would love to include recipes that are meaningful to our community and its members. If you have a recipe you’d like to share or see served at community meals, please let them know!
