Community Notice - Metal Roofing

As a result of Hurricane Fionna, the Sipekne'katik Band was able to secure funding for 148 homes in our community to receive new metal roofs.

Before your roof is replaced, materials for the project will be dropped off on your lot. To avoid delays in repairing your home and providing greater safety to your families the Sipekne'katik Housing Department would like to kindly ask residents to ensure the safekeeping of these materials until a team is on-site to complete the work.

The Sipekne'katik Housing Department and contractors have been working diligently on this project, and it's important that the materials are not misplaced to avoid unnecessary delays.
