Community Weather Update - Sunday, February 4th, 2024

Please be advised that all Sipekne’katik Administrative Buildings including Little Eagles Daycare and LSK will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 5th, 2024. Gas Bar will remain open as usual.

Road crews are working hard in their efforts to clear roads and keep them as safe as possible. The weather conditions remain unpredictable and intense. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

There is blowing snow and drifting in many areas, please stay off the roads for your safety.

If you have appointments outside of the community tomorrow (Monday, February 5th, 2024) Please call to confirm they are taking place and call 511 to check road conditions.

In case of medical emergency, EMO has a plan in place for snow removal. If this is required, please contact Vernon Maloney at 902-751-0407. As always, in case of emergencies call 911.

Updates will continue to be made on all Sipekne’katik First Nation platforms as needed.
