Information on First Nations Child and Family Services, Jordan’s Principle Settlement
Starting at 12:00 AM (midnight) on Sunday, March 9, 2025, applications for the First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan’s Principle Settlement will be available online at https://fnchildclaims.ca.
The application process will require basic information but will not ask you to disclose specific details about your experiences. Dedicated teams will handle the validation of your claim. You can complete the applications using either a computer or a mobile device.

Eligibility Information:
First Nations individuals who, while under the Age of Majority were removed from their homes between April 1, 1991, and March 31, 2022, while living on reserve or in the Yukon, and placed into care funded by Indigenous Services Canada.
