Please be advised that the Sipekne’katik EMO Committee is monitoring Hurricane Ernesto. Current models are expecting Ernesto to track south of Nova Scotia on Monday, August 19th, 2024. Expected conditions could be seen as early as Sunday, and may include gusty winds and heavy rain.

Please monitor weather reports, watch for alerts, and consider outdoor conditions when planning travel or activities.

Sipekne’katik EMO Committee will continue to monitor, prepare, and issue more updates as required.
