The 2024 Winter Food Security Disbursement Application - formerly known as the Christmas Disbursement is now available.

The Winter Food Security Disbursement will be available and disbursed to each band member that is registered as of December 31, 2024. This year parents/guardians can apply for their eligible Sipekne'katik child(ren) in their family/care.

The disbursement for 2024 will be $600 per registered adult Sipekne’katik member who is 18 years old as of December 31, 2024, and $300 per registered Sipekne'katik minor.

The initial Payment Date is Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Applications received after this initial payment date will be processed for payment on Fridays each week thereafter until application close on January 31st, 2025.
