Read below to learn about applying for funding.

Applying for post-secondary funding.

  • Our post-secondary education program provides funding for students registered in two or four-year programs at a college/university.

Per the Sipekne’katik Band Post-Secondary policy, students starting at university or college are required to apply for funding at least 40 days prior to the program start date or the start of the academic term. This webpage provides guidance for new students applying for funding for the first time and for current students wanting to renew their funding.

All application/tuition deposits/holds fees are the responsibility of the student to be reimbursed with receipt.

All students will need to apply for funding for both the fall and winter terms by the following dates:

    June 23- fall term

    November 23- winter term

  • Review the requirements for post-secondary funding before submitting your application.

Application fees and deposits for post-secondary programs and on-campus housing are the responsibility of the student to pay upfront. Students will be reimbursed after a receipt showing payment is submitted to the Sipekne’katik education department.
